However, Collins did such an amazing job with the final book that I fully accept the ending. Who but Peeta could truly understand Katniss (and vice versa) after all they've gone through together? Both physically and, especially, mentally.

You picked some incredible Team Peeta quotes! I re-read both The Hunger Games and Catching Fire just before Mockingjay, so all of these quotes were fresh in my memory and it felt good to relive it all again.
