Eternal HunterUPDATE #2: Cynthia Eden has offered TWO signed copies of  "Eternal Hunter", so there will now be a second place winner also for this contest! This is a fantastic book so make sure you enter for a chance to win!!
Thank you Cynthia!!!!

UPDATE: Cynthia Eden just generously offered to autograph!! her copy of "Eternal Hunter" for this contest!! Because of this being a last minute bonus (& because we're trying to raise money for a good cause) I'm extending this contest until Wednesday January 20th 11:59 pm) I think you'll agree that this makes for a better prize!!
Thank you Cynthia!!

I was inspired by Jeri Smith Ready's blog post yesterday. She was giving away 20 signed copies of Bad To The Bone to everyone who donated $15 or more to Doctors Without Borders to help with Haiti earthquake relief effort  (Jeri's blog  )
I'm not an author so my autograph isn't worth too much but I can give away two great books and help a good cause in my own way.....so I'm giving away BOTH "Eternal Hunter" by Cynthia Eden AND "Frostbitten" by Kelly Armstrong from her Woman of the Otherworld series (I'm sensing a shifter theme....)  to one lucky winner.
Now for the helping others part. I will donate $1 to Doctors Without Borders for every comment left on this post for the first 50 unique commenters (1 per person). Each comment will also count as 1 entry for the contest.  Just tell me who your favorite literary or movie werewolf is.
Mine ,coincidentally, are Clay & Elena from Kelly's books....and Derek from her YA series.

•You must be 18 years or older to enter

•US residents only

•All entries must be received by Sunday 1/20/2010 11:59 pm EST

  5. My favorite comes from the same series as yours, but Jeremy is my favorite. Not that big on blondes.. so that disqualified Clay.. LOL

Thank you for what you are doing. Every bit helps in the face of such tragedy.. off to tweet your donation contest

  6. I LOVE Clay! Elena comes in a close second to him and Nick follows close behind. Kelley Armstrong's books are some of my favourites.

  7. So hard to choose! I would have said Jacob from the Twilight universe, but with his character derailment in book 4 of that series, that's out. Clay is delish and Elena is wonderful, but at the moment I'm loving Vane from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Were-hunters...such a sweetheart. :-)

  9. You never forget your first. Annette Curtis Klause's Vivian Gandillon from "Blood and Chocolate" (LOVED the book, HATED the movie)introduced me to my love of werewolves.

  10. Most of my favorites have already been mentioned so I'm going to go with Kitty Norville (Carrie Vaughn). My favorite movie werewolf is Etienne Navarre from LadyHawke. :0)

    Thanks!

  11. Like you, Clay and Elena are my favourite literary werewolves. For movies, I'd say David Kessler from American Werewolf in London!

  12. I'd have to say my favorite literary werewolves are usually Kelley Armstrong's. Today specifically, I'd have to choose Nick, because I always enjoy funny characters, and I'm currently at one of his funny parts in what is probably my 10th re-read of Bitten (I tend to re-read a lot, so sue me).

  13. SharonK - OMG! I had completley forgotton about Teen Wolf and Michael Landon as a werewolf....I feel old now :-)

Loved Blood & Chocolate (book) I keep seeing bits and pieces of the movie but I never catch it from the beginning.

    illumina3 - Another movie I haven't seen in awhile - loved it!

bibliophile- Love Nick too! I can't even remember how many times I've re-read Bitten. Still one of my favorite books. I also have read Wicked Games by Jeri Smith-ready and Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris over and over and over (you get the idea)........

  14. I love Nick from Kelley Armstrong's books! :) If I had a brother, I'd want him to be like Nick. I'm also pretty fond of Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter series.

  15. It's hard to pick, but I think I'll have to go with Charles and Anna from Patricia Brigg's Alpha and Omega series. :)

Thanks for holding such an awesome (and very worthy) contest!

  16. I'm going to have to go with Kelley Armstrong's Nick. I close second would be Jeremy. Nick's just too funny.

  17. I love Clay! He seems to be the only werewolf totally in harmony with what he is - he accepts it and doesn't apologize for it. You gotta love than in a guy.
