i prefer the TV series, but i watched the entire first season before i read any of the books, if it had been the other way round the books would win, because they are always better.

My Favorite Book In This Series (And Usually Any Series I Read) Is Book 1 Dead Until Dark. The First Book Is The One That Introduces You To All The Characters That We Get To Know And Love As Well As The Ones We Might Hate To Love. I Also Love The HBO Series True Blood. I Think They Are A Great Combo.

Book 4, I think when Eric loses his memory and gets friendly with Sookie, finally. Of course, he was also a lot less Eric-like in that book...

ReplyDeleteI already own all the SVS books. They were actually what got me started reading again. I just wanted to be nosy and put my two cents in. My favorite SVS's would have to be Club Dead and All Together Dead. I do love the show, but I look at it as something separate to the books. It's the only way to watch it AND enjoy it. LOL
i perfer the books to the tv series i been disappointed with it as of late deff love the books tho

ReplyDeleteBy far the books. I like to use my imagination, to picture what the characters look like and they never live up to my expectations when I see them in the flesh. Also I love the character of Eric in the books but don't really him in the tv version.

The truth is, I have not even start to read any of the book but i keep buying and plan to read in one go.However, I do prefer TV series. They really portray Eric character really well, and hot indeed ;p

My favourite Sookie Stackhouse book is Dead to the World, as I imagine it is most people's favourite because of the major Eric screentime and what happens between him and Sookie :-)

I'm sorry but I don't think I can choose which book I like the best, it's too cruel. The first introduced the characters without anything fogging up yet and then onwards was, for me, getting to know Sookie better. And the introduction of new guys, of course :-p
