Blog Hop & Follow Friday!!













Happy TGIF! Time for another Blog Hop hosted by Jen from Crazy For Books! and Follow Friday hosted by Parajunkee's View.

Today's question for Blog Hop is: Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites!

Thank god you're all new to my blog so you won't roll your eyes at this answer. Everyone who follows me knows that I have a bit of Jeri Smith-Ready obsession. She is the author of The Crow series ( my all time favorite series), the WVMP radio vampire series - Wicked Game (my favorite book!), Bad to the Bone, and book 3 - Bring on the Night comes out July 27th! (BIG contest for that coming up!) She is also the author of Shade which is her first YA novel and the first book in her new series. She's my favorite author because her writing style changes with each book. You could read all of the above series and not even know it's the same author. I love when author's take a chance and mix it up like that instead of repeating the same old formula! Plus she also happens to be an awesome person too!
I've just started reading the Mercy Thompson series and Patricia Briggs is becoming another favorite of mine.
Julia Hoban - the author of Willow has only written one novel so far but it was so stunning that she is on my must read list!

    Tiger - I don't know if you'll like it as much as me, but Wicked Game is fun. I do think you would like The Crow series ...they are very intense though!

    Just found your blog through the hop. I'll be a new follower in a sec. I'm a huge Mumford & Sons fan. I listen to their album all the time. They're very popular with Minnesota audiences.
