*What is the name of your blog? I run the blog called Muggle-Born.net at http://muggle-born.net/
* Do you have an auto-buy author, someone whose writing is so good, you have to read every single thing they write? My auto-buy authors include David Levithan, Meg Cabot, Diana Gabaldon, Angie Frazier, Julia Quinn, and Philip Reeve. I haven't read everything they've all written (with the exception of Angie Frazier...) yet, but I will get to all of them eventually!
Karen - I really have to pick up a book by David Levithan. I hear so many good things but just haven't gotten around to reading anything by him yet.
*Who is your all-time favorite couple in literature, and why? (Or favorite male/female character)
Okay, there is no way that I could pick my all-time favorite couple in literature because there are just so many out there and I love them for different reasons. Right now, the one I obsess about is St. Clair and Anna from Anna and the French Kiss.
Karen - A very popular choice I'm sure!
*Do you have an e-reader? Do you prefer e-books or regular books, or use both? I am a proud Nook owner. I still think it's the best purchase I've ever made. As much as I love the convenience of e-books, there is still nothing better than that musty old book smell, or the thrill of having a newly purchased book in your hands.
Karen - Same here. I still by my favorites to hold and cherish :-)
*What are your Top 5 picks for the best books of 2010? In no particular order: Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, Everlasting by Angie Frazier, Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve, Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan, and lastly, Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.
*What book or series has been sitting in your TBR the longest? A lot of classics... Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Brave New World. In terms of YA: The Secret Year, Marcelo in the Real World, and Perfect Chemistry. These are really the books I have yet to get a copy of, so technically they aren't in my TBR "pile". I'll get to them eventually, I hope.
Karen - I loved both The Secret Year and Perfect Chemistry!Cialina's very neat *cough - unlike mine* bookshelf ---->
*What's the best thing about blogging and reviewing books?
The best thing about blogging and reviewing is that I have a written record of all the books I love. I want to reflect years from now and remember just how much I loved a certain book and why.
Karen - I love that answer! I always think of the sense of community with blogging but you're right, it's sort of like having a journal of all the books you love at certain times in your life.
Thanks for letting me interview you Cialina! Be sure to stop by Cialina's blog and say hi!
Diana Gabaldon is amaaazing. She's my top auto-buy author - right after J. K. Rowling of course. ;D
