The Ultimate Reviewer's Challenge has ended but I still have a few more bloggers for you to meet. Today we have Kelsey, who just so happened to have won one of my prize packs from the challenge for her review of Tainted Blood. Congratulations!
Introduce yourself!
My name is Kelsey!
My name is Kelsey!
What is the name of your blog? How did you pick your blog’s name?
Kelsey’s Book Corner I picked the name because 1. I’m usually in some corner reading and 2. Ever since I transformed one of my back bedrooms into my “reading” room it has become my book corner..:D

How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging since July 2010

How do you measure blogging success? Is it strictly number of followers or something more? Personally I think blogging success is based on how I feel at the end of the day. Every time I get a comment on a review or meme, I smile. And yes, every time my follower number jumps up one I consider that a success.
What genres/subgenres do you review, and what do you like best about those genres? I try to do a variety but mainly stick to paranormal, horror, young adult and historical fiction. I have been introduced to dystopian, steampunk and urban fantasy since I started blogging.
What I like best about those genres is just the escaping from reality that I get from reading them (and the hot male hero isn’t so bad either..:D)

What are you reading right now? Right now I am reading A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan, Fallen by Lauren Kate and Tainted Blood by Mary Ann Mitchell

Karen: This is just one of Kelsey's bookshelves. Blogger is preventing me from including all the pictures but let's just say she has a LOT of books!
Obligatory controversial question: Love triangles! Love ‘em or hate ‘em, and why?
If the love triangle is really well written I love them, but sometimes it does get old..you have the bad boy and the good boy…I like when an author throws a twist into them to make them unique.

What has been the best thing about blogging and reviewing books? The best thing so far about blogging and reviewing has been the other bloggers, authors and publishers that I have conversed with. Everyone is really supportive and helpful. I love this community!
Thank you for stopping by Kelsey!!

ReplyDeleteThe porch is the best place to enjoy a book but now we are getting to the time when it is too cool to sit out there..only a few nice days left so I will have to take advantage of that!
