What are your favorite zombie movies?
Here are a few of mine.....
Fido - Timmy Robinson's best friend in the whole wide world is a six-foot tall rotting zombie named Fido. But when FIDO eats the next-door neighbor, Mom and Dad hit the roof, and Timmy has to go to the ends of the earth to keep Fido a part of the family. A boy-and-his-dog movie for grown ups, "FIDO" will rip your heart out.
I love this movie. Not as well known as other zombie movies but it's clever, funny and bittersweet.
28 Days Later - Technically not a zombie movie but I don't care, it's zombie-ish enough for me. This movie creeps me the F out. and I don't scare easily. And.....Cillian Murphy!!

Answer to Question: I'd want one of those vaporizing *ray* guns like the kind used in Star Trek ;D
I loved the remake a few years ago of Night of the Living Dead. I would want some sort of massive gun, so that I could shoot them from far away. If it was som kind of rocket/missile shooter that would be great to kill many at once.

I think I would have to go for a machete, its light and apparently really sharp. I couldn't go for a gun or a crossbow because bullets and arrows run out, and I dunno how good my aim is!

It's hard to choose a favorite zombie movie. I remember watching Quarantine alone and it scared the crap out of me, but I really do enjoy the funny zombie movies, like Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. The zombie movie I've watched most is probably 2004's Dawn of the Dead.

Shaun of the Dead has been a long-running fav of mine. And I totally think 28 Days Later counts as a zombie film, though it's a very different angle. i love Cillian!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen Rodriguez' "Planet Terror"? It's super campy and trashy, but something about its wackiness worked for me. Be warned--it is disgusting.
I'd bring a shoulder-mounted grenade launcher. I've always wanted one of those.
Favorite zombie movie- Resident Evil! I would totally bring a crossbow, it is quiet and had reusable ammo!

Cillina Murphy, indeeeeeeeeed! <3 28 Days later is one of my favs. Shaun of the Dead is so epic, for many reasons. :)

Favs - yes Definitely Shaun of the Dead, the Resident Evils, and Zombieland - I usually go more for the humorous ones because while I love to read zombies - watching them scares the piddle out of me!

I love zombie movies!! My top ones are Shaun of the Dead, 28 days later and Dawn of the dead. I'm watching Resident Evil on tv right now. 2 thumbs up!! I'd take along a really big knife, because if I had a gun I'd eventually run out of ammo. Thanks!!

I'd have to go with a machete, because if you choose a gun, you have to come up with bullets when you are out - but with a machete, you don't have to worry about that!
