This is a really fun take on the Urban Fantasy genre. And Oh my …..Lon. A responsible yet seriously sexy, brooding divorced dad…..swoon….1000 times swoon. Oh yeah – he’s a demon too….and there’s a snarky teen….and a pygmy hedgehog….and….well you’ll just have to wait for me to finish and then write my review. For now check out the teasers below!
Arcadia “Cady” Bell belongs to a magical order that sort of resembles a twisted version of Hogwarts:
“Like every other order, it’s a nonprofit, tax exempt organization, and dedicated to the “Study, Knowledge, and Advancement of the Arcane Arts.” Kinda like Hogwarts, only with fewer wands and more nudity.”
After a Cady shares a steamy kiss with Lon:

ReplyDeleteEven before I got to your teaser, I wanted to read this book. After the teaser, I needed to read this book. Luckily, it is on my TBR mountain and I should be able to read it soon. DeleteI LOVED the disillsionist trilogy. This isn't that high octane but the relationships and characters were just as good imo.
You had me at pygmy hedgehog. They're so darn cute! And I love the description and the Hogwarts comparison. Hilarious! Adding this one to my to-read list now. :D
