Your Song – Kate Walsh: This song is so sweet and soothing to me. Definitely has a YA book vibe going on.
Harbour Lights – A Silent Film: I love the line “I want you to know, That you were my rock never my stepping stone.” I just love that sentiment. All relationships should be that way don’t you think? Otherwise the song is pretty depressing lol
Skinny Love – Birdy: I do still prefer the Bon Iver version but this is very pretty and rounds out my kind of depressing Tune in Tuesday!

ReplyDeleteI love Harbour Lights and have heard several of their songs and even if I am for some reason not a fan of female singers I do like the Birdy song and it is on my iPod, like you tho I do like Bon Iver better. Thanks for the post!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love that line from A Silent Film...heart melting for me hehe. I sooo much prefer Birdy's cover, don't like the original. I play it over and over and never get tired of that song, I love it, agree with Katelyn "it rocks my socks off like no other!"
When I found the Kate Walsh song I realized that I rarely ever feature female singers. I wonder why that is....
DeleteExcellent Tune in Tuesday, yet again! That is probably my favorite Kate Walsh song. It sounds so sweet to me. Harbour Lights! Yeah! Love that song too! In fact, I've shared both of the first two songs before. Excellent taste you have there. ;) I haven't heard that Birdy cover before, but it's hauntingly beautiful. Like I said, awesome picks! ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I prefer the Bon Iver version of "Skinny Love" as well, but I like that this artist had the guts not to follow the original too closely.
