This is so weird because when I first started listening to Alt-J it was a love/hate – or I should say hate/love experience but now I’m kind of obsessed with them and can’t stop featuring music by them each week. lol

a-ha – Take on Me The best part of the Billboard Music Awards is when Morten Harket of a-ha came out to sing Take on me during the Pitbull/Christina Aguilera performance. I loved this song and the video is STILL amazing!
Take On Me is my FAVORITE 80s tune, and still one of the coolest videos evar!

DeleteOoh, ooh, finally a song I know!! I love both versions of Take On Me, but especially the Pitbull and Christina Aguilera one. I don't know what it is about him, because if you really look at him he's not all that, but I can't help but think Pitbull is one sexy dude. It must be the dancing. ;)

ReplyDeleteI LOVED it when A-Ha (or the lead singer anyway) came out!! It was such a surprise, and good for Christina and Pitbull for recognizing the original song :) And you're right! The music vid is still one of my favorites!!

DeleteThat A-ha video is one of my favorite videos ever and I can't stop myself from turning it up when Take on Me comes on the radio. I miss the days when MTV was about music.
