Every once in awhile I need something to get me re-focused regarding my reading a reviewing. I don’t do well with planners and challenges so I thought I might do a post on occasion of bloggerly things that need doing for the week and see if it helps keep me on track.
Books I want to read:
Dangerous Seduction by Zoe Archer – This is a review book but I love Archer’s writing and I’m hearing great things about this one so it should be a fun read.
Write reviews:
The Disrespectful Interviewer by Lauren Baratz-Logstead – I was supposed to review this book many months ago but it got lost in the shuffle.
Blogger tasks:
This was my biggest and most important task...DONE!
Non-blogger stuff:
I have two more episodes of Orphan Black – season #1 to watch.
I want to plant a winter garden with greens like Swiss Chard, lettuces and herbs. I’ve got the beds arranged – I just need to buy dirt and plants.
Do something nice!
Two of my favorite bloggers, Mellissa from Books and Things & Felicia from The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog are celebrating their four legged friends December birthdays with a giveaway! Ends December 20th
Because it’s my baby boys birthday today – I donated to the Warrior Canine Connection
HAPPY BIRTHDAY INDY!!
XOXOXO
Happy Birthday Indy!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! Good luck with your garden. Sounds fun. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww...Happy Birthday to Indy! And good luck with your other goals!
ReplyDeleteAww, happy birthday, Indy!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you think of Cress. I absolutely ADORED IT and now I lurk all over my feed looking for reviews so I can gush with someone. It was my favorite book of the series by far!
I hope you get to The Program soon! That book KILLED me. Top 10 of 2013 for sure. Everything about it was wonderful, but it was also really, really, really sad and not very easy to read at some points. I hope you love it though, as it does seem to be divisive.
Good luck on all your goals!
What?? I never heard that The Program is decisive. Now I'm worried lol
DeleteI really liked Cress. I do think Wolf and Scarlett are still my faves though
Aw, happy birthday to your beautiful pup! I'm impressed that you're doing a winter garden -- I can't even get motivated to do a summer one. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI don't garden in the summer - it's just to darn hot and buggy here (FL).
DeleteI love this post! I'm anxious to see your review for Cress. I adore Baratz-Logsted's books. Did you ever read the sequel to The Bro-Magnet? So good!
ReplyDeleteI haven't but I felt like their story wasn't finished so I want to!
DeleteOooh -- I like the goal setting :)
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting The Program in the mail today (looks on doorstep -- nothing!) so LMK when you read it -- maybe we can discuss…
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
I hate goal setting lol I'm hoping it helps though.
DeleteI'm starting it tonight - we'll talk!
So do you think the bloggy tasks post helped you get on track?
ReplyDeleteIt's like airing your dirty laundry almost! You'll be shamed into getting stuff done!
ReplyDeleteI don't do well with challenges, goals or planners but public humiliation works wonders for me! lol
