Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! The feature was originally created and hosted by Ginger over at GReads! but can now be found over at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands.
This week I’m featuring Irish songwriter and musician, Hozier. I love his bluesy, hypnotic sound.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he makes it to Orlando for a concert sometime soon.
Just for ease of loading times, I’m posting the lyric/static versions of his videos but if you have some time, check out his powerful videos that tackle everything from homophobia to slavery.

OMG I adore that Take Me To Church song! It's gorgeous. I hadn't heard the others until you shared them and I think I'll have to spend some additional time with Hozier. Hypnotic is right!
ReplyDeleteThe lyrics are like a sucker punch to the gut.
DeleteLove 'em all!
ReplyDeleteI thought you would like him :-)

Okay I'm in love! LOVING this music! I don't think I had heard him before so thank you! I'm definitely getting some of this music to listen to while walking.

ReplyDeleteI HATE when that happens.
DeleteWhoa, whoa, whoaaa! Why haven't you told me about him?! Sooo good, love his sound and voice. It makes me shiver in a good way.
ReplyDeleteI was confused with that first song until I saw the video. Love the music of that one.
I only knew the first song but when I look it up to use for the post I started listening to his other stuff and yes - WHOA.
DeleteI was almost in tears a few times. I mean those lyrics…so powerful.
