Flamecaster (Shattered Realms, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima - I've been wanting read something by this author for years so I was excited when this book came for review!
Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke - I've been hearing great things about this book so I grabbed it from Amazon Vine for review. I have NO idea what it's about lol
Calling It by Jen Doyle - I saw someone talking about this on twitter and in a moment of weakness I one-clicked
Her Every Wish (The Worth Saga, #1.5) by Courtney Milan - I've enjoyed several novellas by Milan before so I snapped this new one up
Earth Bound (Fly Me To the Moon, #3) by Emma Barry, Genevieve Turner - I accepted this one for review. I adore this romance series set in the 60's with astronauts. It's listed under historical romance - I was born int he 60's so that means my era is now considered historical. *sobs*
Undecided by Julianna Keyes - This was great NA read. Review coming up 4/28

THEY ARE SO UNFAIR. HOW DARE THEY? We are still spring chickens, for godness' sake. LOL.
Oh wait until Nirvana is considered historical!!!! lol
DeleteHahahahahaah they consider that historical?! Sorry your comment made me laugh lol :p there, there *pats*
ReplyDeleteI'm not much for "historical" but I really want to read the first book based on your review, it sounds great.
Well I still say it's NOT historical damn it! lol I think you would love this series - it's so sweet and romantic. And the NOT HISTORICAL 60's era setting is unique :-)
DeleteI have heard Chima is good
ReplyDeleteMe too. Fantasy isn't my favorite genre but I'm hoping this will be good. It's HUGE lol
DeleteThe Poppy Midnight book cover reminds me of the artwork from The Night Circus.
ReplyDeleteYou're right! I hadn't even thought of that.
DeleteP.S. I miss you Pam!
haha your comment about the 60s being called historical is funny. XD
ReplyDeleteI've read a lot about Wink Poppy Midnight too and it sounded intense.

DeleteI'm going to read Wink Poppy Midnight next week. *fingers crossed* that it's good.
You got several wonderful books to choose from. I don't know what Wink Poppy Midnight is about either, but the title, alone, makes it seem like it will be a fun book. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to go in cold turkey and be surprised.
DeleteYou got some great books. I love seeing what everyone gets although my wishlist doesn't LOL
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! lol
DeleteI want to read Wink Poppy Midnight. Have you read the author's other books?
ReplyDeleteDena @ Batch of Books
I don't think I have. I didn't really look into this one at all - even who the author was. I just liked the title/cover and had heard good things.
DeleteI hear Wink Poppy Midnight is one of those "the less you know, the better" so there isn't a big summary for it. hah However, I DO want to read it as well.
ReplyDelete-Lauren

Yeah - it's their review program. There's a list of items for you to select to review within 30 days. It's mostly books.
DeleteI got Wink Poppy Midnight, preordered it because I loved the author's book Between the Devil and Deep Blue Sea (and because I buy books with the word Midnight in them).
