April was a good month for reading – number’s wise anyway with 16 total books read. While there were a few stand outs – most were meh kind of reads.

Challenges:
I’m doing really well with my Goodreads Reading Challenge – 66 out 120 books read for 2016
2016 Reading Challenge
Karen has read 66 books toward her goal of 120 books.
I’m on target with my Blogger Shame Challenge – I’ve read 56out of my goal of 12 books for 2016.
Blogging:
I WAS doing pretty well there too. I had scheduled 2 posts a week for 4 weeks in advance but then I got sick for a week and now I’m back to zero posts drafted. Oh well. You win some – you lose some. lol SO posts may be sporadic until I get back up to speed again.
What a great list! Checking out these titles for sure =)

Thanks :-)
DeleteGood job!
ReplyDeleteI'm behind a few books on my GR challenge. Blame it on the slump. The alcohol. LIFE!
Yes, why does life always interfere???
DeleteI do love a good LGBT novel. I feel like most of the books I've read recently have fallen under that category too, but there are have been some good ones though! Don't worry about scheduling - it's tough to keep up on things! I'm trying to schedule as much as I can for the month before I leave for BEA next week, but we'll see. ha

They are getting kind of meh - same plots. But I am finding a few good ones - Safe in Your Fire was a paranormal so that was a nice change of pace.
DeleteI never blog ahead - I'm a pantser so I was very proud of myself. But it didn't last lol
I hope May will be awesome!
ReplyDelete3 peeps before me? What is this craziness?
You're so lazy!!!! lol
DeleteI posted it late yesterday so I think I missed your blog visiting window.
Great month! Everyone keeps recommending that Emma Chase series to me, but I've yet to try any of them.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the first book!
DeleteThat is an awesome reading month :D I hear ya on the scheduled posts. Getting sick will do a number on ya.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better! I love it when I have posts scheduled ahead but before you know it you have to write more :(
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
I do want to read Until September. I also want to read Soundless even though you didn't love it.
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
Looks like you got a great reading month in. I have been meaning to pick up Until Tony Met Adam, mostly because I have read every book from the Troubleshooters except that one although I haven't been a huge fan of Adam much. Hope it was enjoyable though.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't read the other books but I liked Adam. He alluded to his past so I could tell he wasn't that great of a guy before.
DeleteI've heard REALLY bad things about Selfie...I loved Dirty and Phase Shift. You had a pretty good reading month it looks like!
ReplyDeleteI had dnf'd it before all the controversy. I had a lot of problems with the writing and romance.
DeleteI'm glad you liked Phase Shift even if you didn't read the earlier ones.
Illness always takes a toll. I am sure you will build your schedule backup. Awesome on the Blogger Shame Challenge.
