In the bustling restaurants, shops, and cafés of Portland, Oregon, things really heat up for the hard-working men behind the scenes when the holidays come into town . . .
For a stationery store owner, the holidays are great for business. But for Hollis Alcott, Christmas reminds him of the tragic events of three years past, and the last thing he wants to do is take part in Portland’s over-abundance of festive cheer. But Sawyer Murphy, a hunky gift shop owner whose brother is married to Hollis’s sister, has made it his mission to pluck Hollis out of his holiday blues. And his plan is beginning to work. Wrapped in the warm glow of newfound passion, the former business rivals hit up Portland’s finest holiday traditions—and Hollis’s icy attitude begins to melt like snowflakes on his tongue. But he isn’t sure he can trust anyone with the only gift he has—his heart—without breaking it like an antique ornament. Unless he can find the courage to take a leap with the one lover he never expected .

Mini review:
Albert is one of my favorite romance authors and Wrapped Together, book #5 from her Portland Heat series, has everything I've come to expect from this authors books.
This book was so freaking adorable, sweet, and sexy as hell!
It's the perfect holiday read to get you into the Christmas spirit.
*Note: Wrapped Together is novellas length and can be read as a stand alone.
Ohhh I've read one of her books in the past (can't remember it now, though) so I'm curious about this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting it on my radar!
I love her books. Always so sweet!
DeleteYay I do need some Christmas books :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the only one I've read this year :-(((
DeleteThis is new to me author, and this story sounds lovely. I’m definitely in the mood for a Christmas themed book.
ReplyDeleteI love her writing and romances. This one was super Christmasy.
DeleteI really loved this one too! I wish it was longer though. haha
ReplyDeleteI thought it was perfect but I wouldn't have minded spending more time with them either. It was SO sweet!
DeleteAw might be too sweet since I go for dark right now. However, after today I may need some sweet in life. *sigh* I may have to get this one now.
ReplyDeleteThey have issues, of course, but this is mostly a light read. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy lol
DeleteAww cute
ReplyDeleteIt was!
DeleteShe's quickly climbing my list of most read authors. I've read this series and her #gaymer series. I'm really looking forward to offbase and I may try Treble Maker soon-ish
ReplyDeleteI've been reading her since the beginning of the Portland Heat series and I think her writing keeps getting better and the stories/characters more complex.
DeleteI don't love the Treble Maker series as much. The stories are still good but I don't like the acapella backdrop.
This seems like something that Vanessa would love :) :)
ReplyDeleteIt was adorbs!
Deleteaww this sounds fabulous. I love the mix of sexy and sweet and need some more M/M romance in my life.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't everyone?! lol
DeleteI love stationaries! I used to collect them til writing on actual paper became archaic and it's all virtual now.
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to you and yours!
Oh me too!! I loved special papers and notecards btu no one appreciates them now. :-(
DeleteBack at ya!!
I'm not a big fan of this genre as you know. However if I do read it it tends to be a Christmas romance and this sounds ideal.
ReplyDeleteIt was really sweet.
DeleteThat sounds perfect for this time of year!
ReplyDeleteI've just come from another blog which featured this very book, the blogger having enjoyed it every bit as much as you did.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard about this one, but it does sound like a good read :) thanks for sharing ! Benish @ Beenazai
ReplyDeleteThis looks and sounds like a book that will get you in the Christmas mood! I haven't read any Christmas books yet so I'm kind of sad about that. :( I'm just now getting out of my book slump which is a good thing but... NO CHRISTMAS BOOKS. #SIGH But, maybe I'll start with this one, YAY! :) Merry Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to start this series. Glad you enjoyed it!!
ReplyDeleteAw nice when you get one that hits the spot. Merry almost Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this author but will check her stuff out.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and hope to see you in 2017!

I love Christmas almost as much as I love stationary, so I'm pretty sure this one was written solely for me. It sounds so lovely Karen, looking forward to grabbing a copy <3
