ReplyDeleteI wish we celebrated Halloween in Australia, I would be out scaring kids and having a great time. Some years we've had a few teens come knocking but mostly kids looking for junk food who are old enough to shave and find a job and buy their own lollies. I live for your spooky Instagram posts. I think I'd choose Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett, she's such an incredible young black woman and can't wait to read it! Thank you so much for the opportunity Karen.
ReplyDeleteRebel by Marie Lu is at the top of my to read list!
ReplyDeleteHalloween isn't a thing here, but I do like how excited some people get over it (and Hocus Pocus is a classic). And no heat, finally!
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited about Ninth House, I want to see what Leigh Bardugo does outside of the YA section!

"Answer any of the October prompts in the post or tell me the October 2019 book you are most looking forward to." "Imaginary Friend" might be good!

ReplyDeleteSuper excited for Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh and Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren.
ReplyDeleteThank you for a generous giveaway!!
In the zombie apocalypse, I will have a long (but not so long as to be unwieldy) double-edged blade, such as a scimitar. I want to be able to kill them while swinging both ways. I also don't want to have to depend on a scant resource such as bullets.
ReplyDeleteSecrets and Suitors by Joanna Barker

ReplyDelete1) Treat, always.
2) It wouldn't be fall without ridiculous temperature variables (it was 90 here today like excuse me? By next week it'll be snowing!)
3) Pumpkin muffins!
4) I would use a Morgan Stick! Just kidding I'd prefer a gun or something else that I wouldn't need to get *too* up close for. But I'll totally take a Morgan Stick for backup!
Fall food... everything pumpkin flavored! Which reminds me that I need to make a Trader Joe's run and buy pumpkin everything. :)

Imaginary Friend would be my choice.
ReplyDeleteIn a zombie apocalypse- my favorite weapon would be an automatic weapon with unlimited ammunition. Hopefully- I would not have to use it because I would be safe in my anti-zombie survival bunker.
