Every once in a while, there's a string of weird headlines and the ones below caught my eye. I had to see them - so now you do too 🤣
As if we don't have enough health crisis going on right now - there's the "diarrhea incident" on the set of NBC's Ultimate Slip 'N Slide reality show that is supposed to air right after the Olympics.
The radioactive pig story isn't quite as bad as it first sounds. Wild boars have bred with domestic pigs left behind in Japan's Fukushima nuclear disaster zone, creating a hybrid species. The domestics pigs are now hardier and have flourished. Unfortunately (or fortunately lol), they are not giant, glowing TERROR PIGS though. As people move back into the area there's bound to be a clash but I'm pretty sure the "terror pigs" will lose.
This isn't a story but still weird lol and something we saw on the way home last month. Just your average ride or die driving companion.
The car has a Jurassic Park logo on the side so I assume the T-Rex travels to local events. I was sure that this was how I was going to die - our car hit by a giant rubber dinosaur but he was securely attached, despite flopping around and baring his menacing teeth at passersby.
Headlines LOL. The pig one sounded like the world was about to end...
ReplyDelete"I was sure that this was how I was going to die - our car hit by a giant rubber dinosaur"
😂 What a way to be remembered!
On a side note, I love your cartoon avatar! I'm definitely rubbing off on you LOL (though mine is more manga-style).
DeleteDoesn't it?? They really oversold that one lol They can be destructive - wild pigs would rip up whole yards overnight in FL but a radioactive terror pig sounds next level lol
DeleteAnd thank you! I don't really know where to go to make the avatars so I used the bitmoji app on my phone.
DeleteI've been wanting to do something new on the blog for awhile but my plan was a very simple, maybe watercolor, girl hiking with shelties.
Instead, I found the sheltie cartoon clipart and went in a totally other direction lol
very me
The slip n slide though. EEEK!
ReplyDeleteI know! EEEWWWWWWW
DeleteI feel like Fukushima has dystopian possibilities lol- like Chernobyl (well not THAT bad, but you know).
ReplyDeleteI love the dinosaur car.
It does and the article title made it sound like it came true!! Alas, it's more nuisance pigs - even though they can be assholes lol than mutant, terror pigs.
DeleteI just saw a commercial for a Jurassic Park event in the mall parking lot near us. I bet that's what the dinosaurs are used for! I wonder if I'll see more on the hwy this week lol
I had read both of those articles, too. 😆
ReplyDeleteThe passenger T-Rex is hilarious. 😂
Kevina dn I are like...whaaaaat is that??? lol
DeleteCackling over the T-Rex, thanks for sharing those photos! Also, I do high key wish the pigs were a little more sketchy! Glow, piggies, GLOWWW! I just read the Slip 'n Slide article, and the whole show sounds woefully unfunny, and I think the diarrhea may have... helped it? Bizarre indeed!
ReplyDeleteThe pig story is such a let down lol So they destroy property. I mean...that's what the wild boars in FL do too. And let's face it - the people are just gonna kill them
DeleteYou would think they would have plans to guard against diarrhea or that you know...you wouldn't poop in the water lol
That dino in the car is so funny lol. And wow, those are definitely some headlines!
ReplyDelete:-)))
DeleteHa! I love quirky stuff like this. :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! A "diarrhea incident" could never be good. Great headlines!
ReplyDeleteNo, never lol
DeleteOh the pig ones, yikes
ReplyDeleteThe poop one disturbs me more lol
DeleteI love the T-Rex. lol
ReplyDeleteYa know, I would assume there are some mutations and strangeness going on near Fukushima.
It was pretty awesome.
DeleteI would think so too. The *terror pigs* story was a bit of a let down. I thought they should be glowing or rabid or something lol
OMG I would have loved to have just pulled up beside a car with a T Rex in the back seat. LOL I mean, how random is that? :)
ReplyDeleteWe were so baffled lol
DeleteSince posting this I've seen several dinosaur park events advertised. I guess it's a big thing out here and I might see more lol
