Question: Describe yourself in three words.

Answer: Hoo-boy this is a tough one!

1. Phobic

2. Loyal

3. Rebellious

To expand a little... I'm afraid of heights, closed/small spaces, flying, talking in front of, or with a large group of, people, and other various irrational things and I have panic attacks. I'm getting better about it and have been doing things that make me uncomfortable and using techniques (I saw a therapist) to get through it. I'm also happy to say that while I've had a sped up heart rate a few times, I haven't had an actual panic attack in several years.

Loyal. I like to think I stand by the people I love and fight for what I believe is right.

I will mostly likely do the opposite of whatever someone tells me to do - including myself. Once I am ordered to do something, or commit to do something, I don't want to do it anymore. lol

Roberta always sends this gif to me...accurate 😂

What about you? Describe yourself in three words.

  1. Back when I was teaching, I had to fill out recommendations via the common application. One question was three words to describe the student. I found it so hard, but you did a great job with this task, and kudos for working towards conquering your fears (or at least dealing with them)

  2. Glad to hear you've been able to conquer some of your fears - it makes life a lot easier and fuller...And loyal is a wonderful thing to be 💛.

Same, but definitely NOT including myself LOL.

    1. Also...I'm planning to reply to all these TMST question (or most of them) in a round-up post sooner or later (probably later...).

    2. Kevin said honest as opposed to loyal but I guess they're similar. Fears are so limiting. Hard to change at this age too but I'm trying.

      And thanks... fixed it!

  3. Oh, I could have added more too.

    Yay rebel!

    1. There are so many words but also hard to do with ONE word. I tried to stick to my core personality traits lol

  4. Great job! I had to ask my daughter for help. After reading some of these posts, I am thinking of better words than what I selected, but it's all good.

    1. Ha! I asked Kevin. He couldn't describe me lol but after he saw what I came up with, he thought honest.

  5. I used to be phobic. When I was little, I was terrified of so many things. I'm still afraid of some things, but not like I was. I'm glad you're doing better with this.

Three words to describe me are: quirky, smart, and empathetic.

Quirky: I've been told I'm a shock to the system when someone first meets me. Until people get used to me, I guess, they have a hard time with my larger than life personality.

Smart: This is such a hard word to use to describe oneself because it can come across as snobby, which I promise I'm not. I'm book smart, with a very high IQ. I have a hard time expressing myself, due to anomic aphasia, so I don't always come across as intelligent.

Empathetic: I'm an empath. I can sense people's emotions. I don't always know the cause of the emotions, but I almost always know when someone's distressed.

    1. Thanks for sharing that! I'm getting better all the time with the fears but everything is much harder to overcome when you're older and it's so ingrained. But I'm getting there.

My husband is very smart but doesn't really know that. Things just come easily to him and he has a good memory. I don't think that's snobby at all!

It's been interesting reading others words because it's hard to come up with but now that you said empathic, I would add perceptive to mine. I'm reading good at sodding up situations and people pretty quickly . And also pretty open/ non judgmental which I just rolled into loyal lol

  6. Oh gosh, idk if I could think of three words for myself. But I love yours and how they cover so many facets of you. I don't think I'm quite as rebellious as you. Depends on who the order is coming from lol.
