Question: Are you satisfied with your blog?
Answer: Ehhh, I've put so little effort into it over the past few years that I can't really be disappointed that it not only hasn't grown but has drifted into oblivion lol
It's fine though because I don't have the same drive and expectations that I did when I started.
Right now, the world is on fire and I just want moments of escape and to chat with people I've now *known* for years and on that front - I am satisfied!
Agreed about finding a place to escape and chat. I think us long-time bloggers must be somewhat satisfied if we are still hanging on.

Amen to that...not to mention, blogs haven't been a big deal since BookTube and BookTok and Instagram took roots, so I don't think something like "blogging success" exists anymore. But we bloggers still exist, and we are a community, and we support each other. That's what keeps us going - along with our love for what we do.
Amen
DeleteI'm satisfied that I have a lot of blogger friends that seem to enjoy what I post most of the time when I never thought anyone would be reading what I was posting. I love getting to know people that I never would have met otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI think I enjoy my blog more now that I accept it's inconsequential to the world, and I am not working towards blogging domination. I already have a full time job. I have a small circle of followers (which shrinks more and more every year), but I like having the outlet. I enjoy the posts I do, and really, the free books are a bonus since I cannot afford my reading habit.
